What Time is IT?

What time is it?

It’s BIRTHDAY TIME!

Come dance with me…

…because it’s my first day of being thankfully, fully in my mid-30’s and I am feeling grateful that I made it.

This song exemplifies what I feel on this perfect cloudy London day. I sing it nearly every day:

This year which has  stretched my limits personally and professionally. I nearly gave up on this project after I ran out of money, put myself in grave credit card debt, got a hernia and although I was shortlisted for two major funding opportunities, my grant writing efforts didn’t produce the results which I had hoped for.

The upside? I’m still standing! And I keep meeting people who tell me stories of their lives and I continue to be inspired by them. Nearly every day. And I am still collaborating with great artists! Happily, tproject1979logosmallhere are plans for future shows in the works but for the moment I’m just reveling in the fact that I’ve survived this year and I’m still smiling!

THANK YOU all for your continued support and THANK YOU for you people who have been crazy enough to dance with me along this journey, this neverending story of what our generation is, what we were and what is to come of our marvelous, in-between, selves.

Today I celebrate YOU.

Come dance with me.
